SmartiFi’s story starts with a challenge every individual eventually faces when visiting parents over the holidays: the battle to fix the internet. However, when it happened to Smartifi’s founder, Ramez Boulos, the typical family debate took a very different turn. Ramez coming from an engineering background and driven to find the root of his parents’ internet connectivity issues, followed their internet cable all the way to the office of the director of the telecom central.

Three months later, Ramez discovered the secret formula to ensuring reliable connection and founded Smartifi; an internet connectivity solutions provider tasked with the mission to forever eradicate the fix the internet-battle. But, Ramez and his team thought, why stop there? After all, with a reliable connection, what can’t you do? Today, Smartifi provides fully integrated smart home solutions to families and businesses, always making sure that your home or business is first equipped with reliable, unwavering internet connection.

During a conversation with his friend Mariam Hilal, they shared their frustration over the slow internet speed in Egypt. Mariam, being a corporate lawyer, recommended turning Ramez’s idea into a business. Using her quick-wit and legal background, she Co-founded and incorporated SmartiFi to become Egypt’s future leading network solutions provider.
